This bike is in good condition with 46338km on the clock, custome painted back in 2002 by the current owner this Modern classic is a blast from the past, The 1995 Honda CBR900RR, often called the FireBlade (or 'Blade), was part of the second generation (1994-1995) of the bike that revolutionized the superbike class.
Key features of the 1995 model:
Engine: It was powered by the original 893cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, producing around 122-124 hp.
Design & Nickname: The most notable change from the first generation was the revised front fairing and irregular-shaped twin headlights, which earned it the nickname "Foxeye" or "Tiger Eyes." The bike was also famously available in the striking "Urban Tiger" paint scheme.
Philosophy: It maintained the original vision of designer Tadao Baba: phenomenal performance achieved through exceptionally light weight (approx. 185 kg dry) and superb handling, rather than relying solely on ultimate peak horsepower. It was significantly lighter than its big-bore rivals.
Updates: It featured improvements in the suspension (adjustable compression damping on the front fork) and a revised gear shift drum to address the notchy shifting of the earlier models. The cylinder head cover was changed from aluminum to magnesium to save weight.
The 1995 CBR900RR is celebrated as a slightly refined and visually distinctive version of the groundbreaking original, known for its agile handling and strong mid-range power delivery.
